Description:
There seems to be errors on freeing forms on wince. This might involve few issues, here are two specific ones it is easy to reproduce:
Forms are not free correctly whit the ‘X’ icon border:
- Start a wince project.
- On the main form’s OnClose & OnCloseQuery events place something like: showmessage('on close...');
- Run the application on the emulator.
- Click the ‘x’ of the icon border to close the application.
The application seems to close, but none of the closing events are fired. Also, if you try to upload a new version of the application to the emulator will fail, since the former application is still active. If you place a button with ‘close;’ command at the OnClick event everything is in order.
The ‘ok’ icon border does not function:
- Create a new form.
- Change the BorderStyle to bsDialog.
- Run the application – you get the ‘ok’ border icon instead of the ‘x’
- Click the ‘ok’ icon – nothing happens.
