Description:
Currently the results data grid after executing a query is very wide. It seems to be even worse if the database uses a UTF8 charset encoding (I tested under Firebird 2.x).
Executing the same query using FlameRobin, the result data grid resizes the columns to fit the data. This is a lot more managable. Executing that same query under LazDataDesktop, the result grid shows only one column (field) at a time, so you have to scroll horizontally a lot. Resizing the columns doesn't help, because as soon as you execute the query again, the column widths are reset.
Attached is two screenshots showing the default result data grid, just after the exact same query was executed. FlameRobin vs LazDataDesktop.
