I am wondering, why LazTarget is set to 1.0 and not 0.9.30 for this regression? This used to work, since I started with Lazarus 0.9.10 in 2005 ;-) |

Target was set before you found out the revision that caused the regression. When I looked at it again just a week ago, I estimated that the chance that it can be fixed before 0.9.30 was low, because there are no lazarus developers working on windows 98 on a daily basis. Also, I am very reluctant to add to the 0.9.30 target. The issue has been mentioned on the #lazarus-dev or #lazarus-ide irc channel in the meantime, so maybe a fix is included in the next release. |

while playing with RC1, I noticed, that the lhelp program seems to suffer from this problem too. lhelp works pretty well, unless it comes to graphical elements. See the attached sreen shot. If I scroll vertically, lhelp terminates with an exception violation. |

Does this happen with High Color (24-bit IIRC) also? (I cannot test true color due to my graphics card not supporting this for my current screen.) |

If I set my system to High Color (16-Bit), everything is working fine. |
