Description:
On Windows the Lazarus code editor respects the windows blink rate setting, so for me it doesn't blink since I set it not to in the keyboard control panel.
But on Linux the code editor's cursor blinks regardless (when the window has the focus). It should either respect the gconf setting
gconftool-2 --set "/desktop/gnome/interface/cursor_blink"
--type boolean "False"
or should offer a [X] Cursor blink checkbox so that people who can't work with blinking cursors can switch it off. See http://www.qtrac.eu/noblink.html
Steps to reproduce:
Just start up lazarus on Linux and click in the code editor window.
