Description:
When I have a simple application and close it via the windowmanager's keyboard combination to close a window, the complete desktop freezes completely if the mouse wasn't in the form. I'm unable to do anything in any application.
however I'm still able to Ctrl+Alt+F1 to a console and kill my application, then the desktop resumes.
I'm using WindowMaker 0.91 and XFree 4.3.0. I also tested the bug while running Metacity (2.8.8). With Metacity the desktop did'n resume. I didn't try any other windowmanager since I haven't installed any.
The problem didn't occur with a more "complicated" application that had two forms open.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new application (the one where lazarus starts with an empty form)
- Compile and run it.
- Move the mouse so it's not over the app anymore.
- Press the combination to close the active window (e.g. Alt+F4).
Now everything should freeze
