Summary0015933: reading text from tmemo on wince gives extra character.
DescriptionEnter some text into a memo. Delete a character or characters from a line. If you assign that line to a variable or another memo, e.g. "var1 := memo1.lines[1];" then the target contains at least one more character than it should. What the extra character turns out to be is related to the last character deleted and other characters araound it, but not sure what the exact pattern is. Loadfromfile and writetofile procedure work normally. Same program in windows xp works normally. This behaviour happens in windows mobile 5 emulator and on a phone with windows mobile 6. If the line contails less than 3 characters then extra character is produced even if nothing is deleted. On a real phone after several save text and reload operations with a file, effect is more severe.
Additional InformationTested with lazarus 0.9.28.2 fpc 2.2.4 and lazarus 0.9.29 fpc 2.4.1. same results with both.
