Summary0016522: Starting a syncronized edit on some sort of code causes an AV.
DescriptionPaste this code in the source editor, select it all and press ctrl + J:
program new;
begin
end.

It causes Lazarus to crash.

Indeed syncro mode attempted to start, even so no word-pairs did exist.

Please note that if your keymapping (as in default key-map) assigns the same key-combo for syncro, as it does for starting template-expansion (both ctrl-j) (or if syncro shares the combo with any other function); then syncro will still grab the key.

That is if a selection exists (with or without word-pairs) the keycode assigned to syncro is eaten by syncro, even if it does nothing.

If you want to mark some text as selection, and then start template editing, you must assign different key-combos.
