Description:
See note 0040788 on #17207 (closed) (The issue in this note may be unrelated to the rest of 17207, since the original issue was debian only, and this is ubuntu too)
Reproduced under ubuntu 9
Compile with -dVerboseFocus or ensure otherwhise that synedit prints debug output in WMSetFocus
- Have multiply tabs open (all in one source-editor window)
- Close the current tab with ctrl-F4
Sometimes focus goes to the notebook-tab-bar (cursor-right/left will change tabs). If so repeat the ctrl-F4
The focus will be on the new SynEdit (test with shift cursor-left/right => you can see the selection appear/extend/...)
However the debug output will show no call to WMSetFocus of this SynEdit
(consequently the caret is not visible)
I checked with debugln on very first line of SynEdit.WMSetFous to ensure the conditional exit is not to blame.
