Description:
Assembly through pipes (the default on Mac OS X) ignores the -s option, e.g.
[p17:adriaan/fpc/testfpc] adriaan% fpc -s hello.pas
Free Pascal Compiler version 2.5.1 [2011/05/21] for i386
Copyright (c) 1993-2011 by Florian Klaempfl and others
Target OS: Darwin for i386
Compiling hello.pas
Assembling (pipe) hello.s
Closing script ppas.sh
4 lines compiled, 0.0 sec
This doesn't happen when passing -ap-, e.g.
[p17:adriaan/fpc/testfpc] adriaan% fpc -s -ap- hello.pas
