Description:
Multiple behavior: Sometimes left-clicking in the object inspector leads to setting breakpoints in editor window, sometimes clicking in editor window makes the object inspector react asif clicked on. Focus is in editor window, but arrow keys move selection in object inspector instead.
Steps to reproduce:
New install of Ubuntu 11.10, lazarus IDE and metapackage (otherwise: unit classes not found) installed with Ubuntu software center. Start Lazarus, select project, "new project", application, OK. Normal behavior. Help, "about Lazarus": shows information etc. closes after pressing CLOSE. In object inspector: click on tabs Properties, Events etc. Normal behavior. Now click on Form1:TForm1 or anywhere else in the top part of the object inspector and the fun starts. Clicking on tabs of the object inspector have no effect (see also issue 19112). Now select help again, choosing "about Lazarus", click on CLOSE. It will not close (but can be moved around) and (not always, behaves differently every time) mouse clicks appear to be in editor window (setting breakpoints) while clicking in object inspector or the other way around, same for arrow keys. You cannot even stop Lazarus 9 out of 10 times, I had to use kill process in system monitor many times to stop it. Minimizing 1 window will minimize all or at least 2 and lots more strange behavior.
Additional information:
Waiting for a few minutes helps sometimes. Normal behavior returns, but clicking in the top part of the object inspector is the sure way to start the strange behavior again.
