Description:
Compiler hangs almost all OSes on my quite old VIA C3 notebook "Roverbook Partner E415L", while other compilers (e.g. gcc) work fine. The time of exact hang is non-reproductable, but with last compilers it is very, very often. So, it is impossible to compile MSE for 5-6 times (every time something is done except last linking which is almost impossible), don't ever think about lazarus or compiler cycle. Slowing down CPU don't help. In other cases (even so memory consuming) system is stable.
The stage of this hang is complete, no kernel panic, no "MagicKeys" works, screen don't changes from that time.
It is not important, what is loaded, system hangs even on bare kernel and bash.
Memory is 512M (-64 video), it is not so much, but not small for so old system.
Some years ago I had this problem on 256 M (-16 video) memory (at that time - on win32).
OK, computer is very old, so new version can have some problems, but hanging the system is not good.
Downgrading comiler helps partialy: the lower the version, the more is worktime, it was possible even to cycle a compiler at early 1.1 (but compiling all packages made the same hang). I couldn't reproduce this on ver. 1.0.10, it compiled itself for sometimes.
Steps to reproduce:
Take VIA C3 system (exactly - Roverbook Partner E415L, if it influence) and compile something large (may be compiler itself).
