Description:
I have seen so many similar emails to the following [see quoted below]. Only the Windows release includes a .RC compiler as standard. All other platforms don't, thus you can't use .rc files in your project out-of-the-box. The 'fpcres' utility simply confuses everybody - they all think it is a resource compiler, which it is not.
Please consider implementing a .RC compiler for FPC so it can work and be used on all (or most) platforms.

Hello,
This is my RC content (tablebuilder.rc):
SCRIPT_POSTGRESQL RCDATA "....\script\sql\postgresql.sql"
But when I try to compile it:
fpcres.exe tablebuilder.rc -o tablebuilder.res -of res
Error: No known file format detected for file 'tablebuilder.rc'
