Description:
The Object Inspector on the MAC does not work like it does on the PC.
It is sensitive to clicking on the VALUE (right side of the grid). It tends to INTERPRET that click as ADVANCING/CHANGING the current value.
It FEELS like the grid is calling the OPEN of the dropdown, not just displaying it. Maybe it is passing the Mouse UP.
Ah, that is it. IF I CLICK, HOLD, Move the mouse off of the Drop Down. Then release the mouse. The problem is going away.
It appears that the MOUSE_UP is getting sent to the new positioned DropDown!
Steps to reproduce:
In the IDE
Select any control on your form.
Click on ANY VALUE for a property that is NOT currently selected).
The Value will ADVANCE one.
So, if you cicked on the "False" for AlphaBlend, the value changes to True as it is selected. It should ONLY NOT be trying to OPEN the Drop Down! (Windows behaves well, it ONLY SELECTS the current value, without a drop down attempting to open or an advancement).
If I do this with Align, while it has a value of alNone. It changes to alRight in front of me.
