Description:
I have been experiencing random copying problems in Lazarus Editor. Routinely, after making a copy operation I find random other places where the copy has been pasted. Although frequently it is on the unit being worked, I have found at times that the spurious pasting operations occur on other open units.
Steps to reproduce:
- Highlight text to copy, use either control-X or control-delete to make the copy to the clipboard.
- Move to the place where the copy is to be placed and using control-v or control-insert, paste the text.
Additional information:
The random pastes are typically found in the first or second page of the unit with a starting location typically 33 spaces from the left side of the editor. In most cases there have been two pastes. I haven't noticed whether the each time I paste that an additional spurious paste is made. I'll have to continue to monitor for that occurrence. In the copy attached the spurious paste starts with ASubToTxt . . .
In this case the copy was made in the unit shown with the paste being made into another unit. The spurious paste appears in the copied unit.
