Description:
Section “9.2 The resource string file” documents a file format and compiler behavior producing *.rst files.
However, (now) compiling a module containing (a) resourcestring section(s) produces *.rsj files that look like JSON.
Steps to reproduce:
program hiWorld(output);
resourcestring
greeting = 'Hi!';
begin
writeLn(greeting);
end.
Additional information:
[…]
Compiling hiWorld.pas
Writing Resource String Table file: hiWorld.rsj
Linking hiWorld
6 lines compiled, 0.1 sec
Possibly, rstconv should be renamed to rsjconv? I mean, I tested it and rstconv(1) can read and process the *.rsj files.
