|Description||openurl does not work under Windows 10|
it does not open a browser, it does not open edge and chrome.
note browser.exe homepage.html does not work in normal command line, command prompt either.
|Steps To Reproduce||just enter chrome.exe -- cnn.com in command line, command prompt., this is what lcl executes too..|
different method should be found... it does not seem to work.

I just tested this with the Trunk on a Winpro 10 and older versions of laz on windows 10 Home Pro using "https://google.net') and works fine on both of
A note however is that Windows requires elevated access to launch some apps and thus you may need to do this through the ShellExec instead.

Can you step through the code an see where it fails?
I cannot reproduce it, but I have FF as my default browser.
AIK it can properly open an URL in Edge (this was extensively tested).
We haven't had any bugreports about OpenURL not working with Chrome yet.

That sounds like a misconfigured browser.
As a workarond for now you can use ShellExecute() to open the url in the default browser.
