|Product Version||2.1 (SVN)|
|Summary||0037853: Switching back to the Lazarus IDE from different program causes rapid blinking of the IDE windows as they are repainted.|
|Description||I don't remember if this was problem in earlier revisions of Lazarus IDE trunk, but it is now starting to get my nerves. Also focus one of the windows - if it is have one before - is lost during the repaint process.|
If I disable "Show single button in the TaskBar" option (Options -> Environment -> Window -> "Show single button in the TaskBar") , then this bug vanishes.
|Steps To Reproduce||0. Start Lazarus IDE.|
1. Make sure that "Show single button in the TaskBar" option (Options -> Environment -> Window -> "Show single button in the TaskBar") is checked.
2. Switch between the Lazarus IDE and other program.

What desktop system your Arch Linux has?
I don't see such blinking with my KDE system.
Can you please compare with older versions of Lazarus. Did the behavior change recently?
I use LXDE desktop environment.
I see if I can get older version/go back revisions to check if it normal or not.
EDIT : Tested with release version of Lazarus (2.0.10), the blinking and lost focus of active window is there.
||LXDE is mentioned also in related 0021352. It is about TabControl.|
