Description:
Setting an invalid ListView column width crashes the IDE requiring Task Manager / End Task
There is another problem with column width. The width entered is not remembered after being set through the property inspector.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project
- On a blank, form drop a TListView
- Click on "Columns" in the list view property editor
- Click add a column
- Type the letter "A" for column width
An error dialog pops up: "Invalid numeric value" and at this point the IDE locks up
To reproduce the problem with column width:
- After you add a column exit back to the form by clicking OK.
- Go back into ListView column property editor.
- Change width of any column to "100".
- Exit back to the form by click OK.
- Go back into ListView column property editor. Click on the colum whose width you just change. Notice that the column width is not what it is supposed to be.
