Description:
IDE can compile but not run ANY project (including a blank form).
Run produces a SIGSEGV followed by:
Address: $7C918FEA
Procedure ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection
This happens on Lazarus 0.9.13 as well. Don't know what combination of XP "goodies" causes this. A machine without SP2 does not suffer, but I've been told that other XP machines with SP2 at other institutes do not have a problem. However, so far every production machine we have here with SP2 has this problem. The executable produced can run outside the IDE without a problem.
Steps to reproduce:
Install and start Lazarus. Just try to build and run a new project.
Additional information:
Windows firewall on or off makes no difference. Virus Scanner on or off makes no difference.
