Description:
In Intel syntax mode, character literals in asm blocks are translated
incorrectly. Code like "cmp al,';'" becomes "cmpb $989855744,%al" in the
generated .s file. The values appear random, but are consistent for a
given character, though I haven't discerned the pattern yet.
