Description:
if a cgi program written in pascal dies before the headers are written, then -- at least apache chokes and does not put enough of the error message into the logs to be able to figure out what went wrong.
If the error printing routine printed an empty line (as in writeln(stdout, ''); ) before it printed any of the error message, then it would tell apache that the headers were passed, and would allow the error message to pass on to the browser where one could see the message and figure out what went wrong.
I don't think that the extra line feed would be very distracting in other environments either.
