Description:
I was attempting to compile a DOS EXE under Linux. The problem is that in the script/batch file PPAS.SH the program LD is launched w/ a command something like -
usr/bin/ld --oformat coff-go32-exe -o progname.exe @link.res
The problem is that @ is apparently a valid character in Linux filenames so it reports '@link.res not found'.
I was able to circumvent this (by typing the contents of link.res on the command line) but encountered further problems (which have prompted me to give up).
I'm very much a Linux neophyte so it's quite possibly that my further difficulties are not FP bug related, but I figure it's not worth the effort to continue.
As you were generous enough to supply me w/ this application I felt it my responsibility to report this problem for your benefit.
If I can be of any further assistance to you, please let me know. Thank you.
